Primary responsibility includes performing skilled MARINE WELDER (3G / 4G / 6G) duties in accordance with Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) safety standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute marine welder (3g / 4g / 6g) tasks efficiently on designated Marine Shipyard sites.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines and risk assessment procedures.
- Maintain tools, machinery, and equipment in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with supervisors, safety coordinators, and team members to meet project milestones.
Qualification & Skills Requirements
- Skill Certification: SEC / SEC(K) or equivalent recognized trade certificate.
- Safety Certification: Mandatory Safety Orientation Course (CSOC / MSOC) or WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction/Marine Sites.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years relevant hands-on experience in Singapore or overseas.
- Physical Fitness: Fit for manual site execution and heavy-duty tasks.
Work Permit & Employment Terms
- Sector: Marine Shipyard
- Pass Type: Work Permit (WP) under MOM Singapore regulations.
- Working Hours: 44 hours/week + allowable overtime (OT).
- Execute skilled marine welder (3g / 4g / 6g) tasks in accordance with project specifications.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines and risk assessments.
- Operate and maintain trade tools, machinery, and equipment in safe working order.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and engineers to achieve safety and quality milestones.
